Way Too Early Week 1 NFL Odds And Predictions

Week 1 NFL Odds And Predictions

The 2022 NFL season is finally getting underway as the schedules were released on Thursday night. We’re going to see some of the best teams in all of football going at it in the first week, including some divisional rival games that should be some of the best of the year.

Just like winning money from the best online casino, there’s also going to be a chance for bettors to be making some money in the first week of the NFL.

Let’s break down some of the top picks for the first week and give a bit of an analysis for each game.

Bills At Rams (-1)

The defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams are going to be taking on arguably the best team in all of football in the Buffalo Bills. This is going to undoubtedly be the best game of Week 1, with the Rams potentially sneaking out a tough win to start the season at 1-0. With this team being the defending Super Bowl champions and making some great offseason additions, look for the Rams to start the season 1-0

Saints (-3.5) At Falcons

Honestly, the best bet of the first week might be taking the New Orleans Saints – 3.5 against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons made some interesting offseason moves and with their quarterback most likely being Marcus Mariota, this could be a good time to hop on the Saints to get a win in the first week of the season.

There are certainly some questions in New Orleans, but they did make some good off-season moves and also were able to draft well, which should help them out throughout the season.

Browns (-4.5) At Panthers

It’s still unclear who’s going to be starting for the Cleveland Browns because there is no word about how long Watson’s suspension is going to be. If Watson is only going to miss the first couple of weeks of the season, the Cleveland Browns could arguably be one of the top teams in all of football throughout the season. With the uncertainty here of who they’re going to have, it could be a good time to take the Panthers + 4.5.

49ers(-6) At Bears

A 6 point spread isn’t necessarily the type of line that you’re going to be looking for in the first week of the season, but the Chicago Bears should once again be one of the worst teams in all of football. The Bears are going to be coming into this one after finishing the 2021 regular season at 6-11. With Justin Fields still as their quarterback and some uncertainty about how he’s going to perform once again this year, it would be smart to put a lot of money on the 49ers.

Steelers At Bengals (-6)

Similar to the Chicago Bears that we spoke about above, the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to likely either be starting a rookie quarterback, or Mitch Trubisky. Either way that they go is not going to be enough for the 2021 Super Bowl runner-ups.

Eagles (-3.5) At Lions

The Philadelphia Eagles have made some excellent offseason moves including adding AJ Brown and having a great draft. With them taking on the Detroit Lions, it could be a good time to put some money on the Eagles, but the Lions actually made some great strides throughout the 2021 season and the pick here is going to be taking them with plus 3.5 spread. Detroit is one of the best fan bases in all of football and that stadium is going to be rocking for opening week.

Colts (-7.5) At Texans

A 7.5 points spread for a team like the Indianapolis Colts is certainly interesting. The Colts are one of those teams who could beat anybody on any given day, but could also lose to anybody on any given day. The pick here is going to be taking them with the 7.5 just because the Texans are once again going to be one of the worst teams in football, if not the worst throughout the year.
